Jueves de Cine - Fall 2018
This is the love story of Marina and Orlando and the dramatic, hurtful, and eye-opening events that unfold after Orlando falls seriously ill. Instead of being able to mourn her lover, suddenly Marina is treated with suspicion because Marina is a trans woman and for most of Orlando's family, her sexual identity is an aberration, a perversion. The film has won numerous awards including for Best Foreign Language film at the Academy Awards in 2017.
