We invite you for the next virtual meeting of the Gender and Sexuality Writing Workshop that will take place Friday, December 10th, from 2:00-3:30 PM EDT. Lisette Varon-Carvajal will present a conference paper entitled: "Creating Medical and Judicial Truths: Expert Testimonies of Midwives in New Granada's Bourbon Era". The Gender and Sexuality Writing Workshop provides a space where graduate students can present their work to their peers and receive helpful and constructive comments. Graduate students will workshop dissertation chapters, conference presentations, and dissertation prospectus that deal with the history of women, gender, and sexuality. If you are interested in regularly participating in the workshop let us know so we can include you in our shorter email list where we decide dates, times, etc. All are welcome.
