The Puerto Rico Archival Collaboration of the Center for Latin American Studies is sponsoring an effort to organize the donation of all books on Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans authored by diaspora scholars. So far the effort has yielded a dozens of donations. The effort will continue through 2025
In a recent forum the Director of the Library and Archive, Hilda Ayala, acknowledged the need for these contributions and the importance of furthering connections between Puerto Rico and state-side Puerto Rican (and other) scholars who publish in these broad areas of work.
Estamos colaborando con la directora del Archivo General de Puerto Rico y la Biblioteca Nacional de Puerto Rico, Hilda Ayala, para obtener donaciones de copias de los libros sobre historia y estudios sobre Puerto Rico y Puertorriqueños (y temas Latinos) publicados en los Estados Unidos.
La institucin no han tenido recursos para comprar libros nuevos por años.

Podemos contribuir una foto de los libros ya en su lugar en cuanto lleguen.
