Animal Protection Symposium in Colombia Supported by CLAS

The third meeting of the National Symposium on Animal Protection, organized by the Observatorio Animalista, was held on June 23, 24 and 25.

The event gathered speakers who presented research that developed, from different disciplinary fields, the notion of animal protection. In this version of the symposium, three university law firms specialized in dealing with cases of animal abuse shared their experiences and future plans. The Symposium closed with the participation of the Undersecretary of Animal Protection and Welfare of the Mayor's Office of Medellín, who reviewed what has been done by the institution for the animals for nearly 20 years.
